About the client

Turtle Island Resort is a luxury private island resort located off the coast of San Pedro, Belize. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters and tropical landscapes, the resort offers a serene getaway with exclusive villas, a turtle sanctuary, and activities such as snorkeling, fly fishing, and spa services. The resort also features an infinity pool and gourmet dining that highlights local Caribbean flavors, making it a top destination for travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation.

Challenge

After a change in ownership, Turtle Island Resort needed to update their online presence to reflect the new features of the property. The goal was to create fresh and engaging content to attract a new audience, grow their social media presence, increase website visitors, and ultimately drive more bookings. Capturing the essence of the resort while showcasing its luxurious amenities was key.

The decision to rename from CANDU Owners Group (COG) to Conexus came from a desire to better reflect the organization’s evolving mission and community. While the original name highlighted their expertise in CANDU nuclear technology, it no longer represented the full scope of their work or the growing diversity of their membership, which now extends beyond CANDU and beyond owners.

The new name, Conexus, captures the spirit of connection and collaboration at the heart of the organization, positioning it as a hub that brings members together to advance the future of nuclear energy.

Xunantunich is an ancient Maya site located atop a ridge above the Mopan River with beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding area. This incredible site is just 20 minutes away from Sweet Songs. To get there, you cross the Mopan River on a hand-cranked ferry, located about a mile from the site. Xunantunich consists of three ceremonial plazas enclosed by house mounds and pyramids. The largest pyramid, El Castillo, is decorated with friezes from the Classic period. There is a nice museum and temples to climb for the beautiful panoramic views of Belize and Guatemala.

“We have had the pleasure of working with Kaejon to create content for six of our different resorts in Belize. Every time we work with him he is extremely communicative, professional, and efficient. We had several things on our content wish lists, and he was able to capture everything, along with several additional surprises.

The photo & video content he created is stunning and a true testament to his talent and eye for detail. His sponsored posts gained tons of engagement, which helped grow our brand awareness and social media presence. We would work with Kaejon again in a heartbeat.”
